Conservative party deletes archive of speeches from internet. Decade's worth of records is erased, including PM's speech praising internet for making more information available. According to The Guardian :  'The  Conservatives  have removed a decade of speeches from their website and from the main  internet  library – including one in which David Cameron claimed being able to search the web would democratise politics by making "more information available to more people, giving them more power". FT leaving behind the print edition

Written by Roy Greenslade The Guardian In effect, it means that the FT's paper will no longer be a "news"paper. There will be only "minimal late evening changes". Late-night working will virtually cease. Barber explains: "The 1970s-style newspaper publishing process - making incremental changes to multiple editions through the night is dead. In future, our print product will derive from the web offering - not vice versa." Barber says "journalists will publish stories to meet peak viewing times on the web rather than old print deadlines," adding: "The process will be akin to a broadcasting schedule. Where once we planned around page lay-outs, we will now adopt a news bulletin-style approach." BBC Breakfast rejects guest over her views on unpaid internships Graduate Fog’s founder Tanya de Grunwald was dropped hours before a planned TV appearance on Friday’s BBC Breakfast – after she refused producers’ requests to tell viewers that unpaid internships can be a really good thing. So de Grunwald ended up spending a night at Salford Media City Holiday Inn (double room fee: £109). The train ticket cost a further £79. "On the up-side," she told me, " I enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast the next day ." (As pictured above).
